Day by Day

1. Hoian to QuiNhon.

2. QuiNhon to NhaTrang.

3. NhaTrang to DaLat.

4. DaLat to MuiNe.

5. MuiNe to BinhChau.

6. BinhChau to Saigon.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: HoiAn to Qui Nhon(Breakfast, lunch)

Depart early to CuaDai and we ride along the coastal village to TamHai. Local ferry crossing and on to ChuLai. We pass Chu Lai, a former American military base. Our van will pick us up for transfer to the golden sands of Sa Huynh beach – which is also a nice place for a dip in the cooling sea. Lunch break in Sahuynh beach.
Then we start cycling central Vietnam coast, past rural rice villages canopied by swaying coconut palms. We visit a Cham tower before going on to hotel in QuiNhon. Total ride ~ 60 –  120km. O/N QuiNhon.

Day 2. Qui Nhon to Nha Trang (Breakfast, lunch)

Cycling central Vietnam coast with most scenic 30k along the coastline, featuring deserted blue lagoons and stone promontories overlooking the waters below. Fishing villages, colored boats, mountain pass above the sea etc. Lunch & swim at scenic DaiLanh beach. This day is a century ride chance. We ride about 120km today. Day 3. NhaTrang to DaLat (Breakfast, lunch)

Challenge today climb up HonGiao pass (which some of us will do in the bus) into the beautiful pine forests, lunch break at HonGiao summit. We keep on up and down hill through vegetables, tea & coffee platation to DaLat. See GPS details of the climb here http://connect.garmin.com/activity/69860594 . If you ride from Nhatrang, you made 140km today !! O/N DaLat.

Day 4. DaLat to Muine beach. (Breakfast, lunch)

Dalat a beautiful colonial hill-station with cooler weather and some very interesting and sites: HangNga crazy house, DaLat railway station, TrucLam pagoda. We head down hill today to DiLinh and through the tropical forest down to Phanthiet, getting back to the central coast again. Road bike can made ~ 160km today. Overnight at Muine beach resort.

Day 5. Muine to BinhChau. (Breakfast, lunch)

Riding back to PhanThiet town and turn to a small road to KheGa beach. We will see the old light house at the beach. Then we cycle through salt fields to Lagi. The last stage 30km to BinhChau with a small hill. Late afternoon relax at the hotspring of BinhChau. You may try the mineral mud bath, relax muscle before the last ride to HCM city. Cycling 60 ~ 110km today. Overnight at BinhChau hotspring resort ****.

Day 6 BinhChau to SaiGon (Ho Chi Minh City) (Breakfast, lunch,dinner)

Cycling back land today through Bungrieng, Dabac and SuoiNghe. Nice road with gentle hills until we get to MyXuan and hw 51. Our van will pick us up for a transfer to Saigon – HCM city. Farewell dinner Saigon. End of tour.
